Wool Parades 2008

24 October, 2008

The Camberwell Trader's Association were invited to sponsor the 2008 Wool Parades held in August as part of 'Sheepvention'  one of rural Victoria's major events. It was a great success and huge thanks to all those involved in organising the event and those who enjoyed the parades.

Over 25,000 visitors from around Australia and New Zealand attend Sheepvention and the Wool Parades are the most popular event, with four parades held each day. They also held a special evening to judge the prestigious 'Young Designer's Wool Award' with the lucky winner receiving a residential Fashion Design Course in Milan, Italy.

Camberwell stores provided wool garments for the stylish parades that featured top Melbourne male and female models. Each guest received an entry form for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree- they simply shop with one of the stores on our website, add a receipt of a purchase to the entry form and post back to the centre. Entries close October 20 and the winner will be announced on this site. Good Luck!
STOP PRESS - Winner of the $500 shopping spree is Ms. M McAllister of Hamilton - congratulations!! Thank you to who entered our competition.
